Georgia Bushcraft Fall Gathering Nov. 8-10

I have personally been to this event every year for the past 3 or 4 years, and plan on attending again this year. It is one of my favorite events of the year.
My favorite part of the gathering is catching up with old friends and making new friends. This event might be the only time I see people all year that I have known for a long time, and I always look forward to that.
I also enjoy walking around and seeing and talking to all the vendors on site. Not only do you get to see products, but you get to talk to the people that either make or sell them, and it seems so much more personal than ordering stuff on-line.
My son really likes signing up for as many skills classes as possible. In the past we have participated in fire making challenges, spoon carving, knife making, using big blades, blade safety and bug hunts.
Besides all that, there is always good food on site, and even beer!
